REPORT đ± :Tiger Woods Has Another Hilarious Message For Phil Mickelson: Supporters React
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson on the course.
Golf star Phil Mickelson made a bit of an oopsie-daisy on Twitter by prematurely declaring himself the winner of the PIP â a prize award to the golfers who make the biggest impact in media. And his longtime rival Tiger Woods was ready to have some fun over it.
Back in December, Mickelson thanked the fans for helping him win the inaugural PIP. But on Wednesday, it was revealed that Woods â not Mickelson â actually won the award and the big cash prize.
âIâd like to thank all the crazies (and real supporters too) for⊠helping me win the PIP!!â Mickelson tweeted. Today, Woods posted a picture of that tweet with the one word message: âWhoops.â
Naturally, golf fans went crazy over the short yet massive burn that Woods dealt Mickelson. In less than an hour the tweet has over 600 comments, 4,500 retweets and 22,000 likes, along with replies like these:
Score another one for Tiger Woods. And based on the reaction and attention Woods is already getting for that burn, people are joking that he might be the frontrunner to win the PIP in 2022 as well.
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson have enjoyed an amazing rivalry over the past 25-plus years. And theyâve never been above ribbing one-another.
Hopefully we havenât seen the last of those two golf legends playing at Augusta together.
Who do you think will win the PIP next year?
Tiger Woods reveals heartbreaking reason his 16-year-old daughter doesnât like golf

Tiger Woods is opening up about his kids and their relationship with golf.
Itâs well known that Woodsâ son, Charlie, is following in his dadâs footsteps and becoming an exceptional golfer in his own right. In fact, just weeks after receiving a state championship ring, 15-year-old Charlie competed for a spot in the U.S. Open for the first time just days ago.
But what about Charlieâs older sister Sam, who is now 16 years old?
In an interview with the âTodayâ showâs Carson Daly, Woods admitted that Sam wonât be swinging a club alongside her brother or her father any time soon. In fact, despite her father being a golfing legend, Sam doesnât care that much for golf at all.
The reason Sam doesnât?
âWhen she was growing up, golf took daddy away from her. I had to pack and I had to leave,â Woods told Carson. âI had to be gone for weeks. And thereâs a negative connotation to it.â
Woods, however, said he and his daughter have found common ground outside of golf. âWe develop our own relationship, our own rapport thatâs outside of golf,â he explained.
âWe do things that donât involve golf.â
âMeanwhile,â Woods adds, âmy son and I, we do everything golf related. Itâs just very different.â
But that doesnât mean Sam isnât supportive of the legacy her father has been able to leave. While she may not eat, sleep and breath golf, Sam did caddy for her dad just a few months ago for the first time.
According to The Palm Beach Post, Sam is making a name for herself in high school soccer and track and field. Her soccer team is 17-1 and looking for a first state championship of its own.
