Michael van Gerwen was conspicuous by his absence in the Down Under doubleheader on the World Series of Darts over the past few weeks. The Dutchman had been invited to the events but decided against an appearance.
Instead of competing in the New Zealand Darts Masters and the New South Wales Darts Masters, ‘Mighty Mike’ has been relaxing, taking in the sunshine and enjoying some much-needed family time on the Spanish island of Ibiza.
