Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Portuguese winger Carlos Forbs from Club Brugge, in what would be another exciting addition to the club’s attacking options.

The deal represents a major step in Tottenham’s efforts to build a dynamic and youthful squad under head coach Roberto De Zerbi. Forbs, known for his explosive pace, direct running and ability to play on either flank, would bring another dimension to Spurs’ attack.
Forbs began his senior career with Manchester City before moving to Ajax in 2023. He later joined Club Brugge in July 2025 after Ajax and the Belgian side reached an agreement for his transfer.

At Club Brugge, the Portuguese youngster has continued his development and attracted attention with his speed and attacking ability. His profile makes him an interesting fit for Tottenham, particularly as the London club looks to add more depth and competition in wide areas.
Tottenham have already been extremely active in the current transfer window. The club have completed major deals for players including Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, while also strengthening their defence with Jan Paul van Hecke.

The potential arrival of Forbs would therefore continue what has been an ambitious summer rebuild at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
⚡ Why Forbs?
Forbs offers qualities that can be extremely valuable in the Premier League. His acceleration allows him to attack defenders one-on-one, while his willingness to run behind defensive lines could give Tottenham another outlet during fast transitions.
The Portuguese winger is also still young, meaning Tottenham would potentially be signing a player with significant room for improvement. Rather than being viewed simply as an immediate-impact signing, Forbs could develop into an important long-term attacking player for the club.
His previous experience at Ajax and Club Brugge has also given him valuable exposure to European football.
🔥 A New Era at Spurs
Tottenham’s transfer activity suggests the club are determined to challenge on multiple fronts. The additions of Fernandes, Tonali and Van Hecke have already strengthened different areas of the squad, and a move for Forbs would add further attacking firepower.
For supporters, the reported agreement would be another reason for optimism heading into the new campaign.
