Pessimistic 💔 :Tiger Woods breaks silence on reaching his 2024 goal after missing out on The players

Tiger Woods is unlikely to reach his 2024 goal after missing out on The Players Championship by 4,444 4,444.
When the 2024 edition of The Players Championship begins on March 14 at the famous TPC Sawgrass, Tiger Woods will not be among the 144 players vying for a total prize pool of $25 million.
The PGA Tour opened all fields for his flagship event on March 8, but Woods’ name was conspicuously absent, leaving many golf fans wondering if the 15-time major champion would ever play again until the Masters.
I believe I will never see it teed up.
Before appearing in last December’s Hero His World His Challenge, Tiger had envisioned a scenario in which he could play his once a month.
As everyone expected, he made his 2024 season debut at the Genesis Invitational held at his club Riviera Country on February 15th.
This tournament is one he has hosted for many years to benefit his TGR Foundation.
Unfortunately, the 48-year-old had to withdraw after just 24 holes due to illness.
Due to its high profile, the Players Championship was intended to be Tiger’s final preparation for his first major of the year.
However, with the PGA Tour’s schedule looming, Woods is unlikely to play again until Augusta.
Tiger Woods probably won’t play again until the Masters.
To be fair, Woods never said he would play in the Players Championship.
But considering this is the biggest event on the PGA Tour calendar and he has plenty of time to recover before the Masters, it seemed like a logical choice.
However, it should also be noted that Tiger, a two-time Players champion, has not competed in the event since 2019.
Next on the PGA Tour schedule for “The Players” is the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Florida (March 21-24).
Woods has only played in this tournament once in his career, finishing second in 2018.
After that, in Texas, the Texas Children’s Houston Open (March 28-31) and Valero Texas Open (April 4-7) are scheduled for the Masters, which Woods is unlikely to attend.
Two matches will be held.
