BALTIMORE – Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes in the second quarter, one thanks to a fortuitous carom, after the Bengals lost star quarterback Joe Burrow to a wrist injury.

The Ravens (8-3), who are in first place in the AFC North, completely defeated Cincinnati (5-5) and are currently two and a half games behind the last-place Bengals.
That’s not the only problem in Cincinnati.
Burrow left the game after throwing a touchdown pass in the second quarter and did not return.
Bengals manager Zac Taylor said after the game that Burrow appeared to have sprained his wrist.
There was also some bad injury news for Baltimore after the game.
Tight end Mark Andrews is expected to miss the rest of the season with his ankle injury.
Burrow made a 4-yard scoring throw to Joe Mixon to give the Bengals a 10-7 lead, but Jackson’s pass over the middle hit linebacker Jermaine Pratt and right receiver Nelson Aholola.
It bounced back and the Ravens responded.
The aholor caught the ball perfectly and scored.
A 37-yard touchdown on a flip into the end zone.
Jackson threw a 10-yard TD pass to Rashod Bateman with 23 seconds left in the first half to give Baltimore a 21-10 lead.
Jake Browning, a 27-year-old reserve who has only played in one NFL game, relieved Burrow and led the Bengals to a field goal early in the second half.
But that was all he could do until he threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase with 1 minute, 4,444 seconds left.
Jackson threw for 264 yards despite losing one of his top targets, Andrews, to his ankle injury on the first drive of the game.
Gus Edwards scores a 3-yard touchdown run to end Baltimore’s day offensively.
It was 7-0 in the first run and 34-13 in the second.
Cincinnati won the district championship the past two years when Jackson was off the field for the Ravens due to a season-ending injury.
Jackson has been able to stay healthy this year.
After he suffered an apparent foot or ankle injury in the first quarter Thursday, he went into the tent but remained in the game.
And Baltimore’s AFC North rival is dealing with quarterback health issues.
Cleveland, which won last weekend against Baltimore and was just a half-game out of first place, lost Deshaun Watson for the season to a broken shoulder.
Burrow was plagued by calf issues earlier this season and is now suffering from a new injury.
