Baker’s replacement is already known to Houston Astros General Manager Brown.

Dana Brown, general manager of the Houston Astros, reportedly already knows who he wants to replace Dusty Baker.

Following his retirement at the end of the 2023 MLB season, legendary and future Hall of Famer Dusty Baker left the Houston Astros, and the team is currently looking for a new manager.

Although general manager Dana Brown stated they would be taking their time in the search, many well-known names have been floated around in the media as possible replacements.

But maybe the solution is already within the building, despite all the talk.

Brown is pushing for Joe Espada, the bench coach currently in place, to take over as manager, according to USA Today.
