UCLA Football: Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders Accepts Blame For Loss To Bruins

UCLA made Colorado’s signal caller work for his yards on Saturday

The UCLA Bruins captured their sixth win of the 2023 season to improve to number 20 in the AP Polls heading into Week 10.

The Bruins overcame a shaky first half after scoring only seven points and turned over the ball four times. Luckily, the defense did their job and held the Buffaloes to six points in the first and ten in the second half.

The UCLA defense made the Coloraod offense work for it, resulting in their signal caller, Shedeur Sanders, taking the blame for Saturday’s loss.

The UCLA defnese held Sanders to 27-for-43, a completion percentage of 62%, 217 yards, this second lowest of the season, one touchdown, and a QBR of 38.2.

The Bruins came out in the second half and looked like the team we all became accustomed to in 2023 showed up and showed out. It was a tremendous and much-needed win where both sides of the ball eventually played to their capabilities.

Now, the page will be turned to the Arizona Wildcats for another latest edition of the Pac-12 After Dark. The Bruins are flying high and will look to continue to ride that wave and make a push for the Pac-12 title.
