Colorado is hot with 4-star EDGE King Joseph Edwards.

Hoxton (Ga.) Mill Creek four-star EDGE King Joseph Edwards will visit Colorado this weekend with Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes.

Prior to this trip, Coach Prime was tipped to recruit Edwards, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction (RPM).
The Buffaloes are currently the top pick according to picks by Sam Spiegelman and Chad Simmons of On3 and Zach Berry of OMSpirit.com.

According to the On3 Industry Rankings (a weighted average using four top recruiting media companies), Edwards is ranked 315th nationally and 29th by EDGE for the 2024 cycle. Edwards is also Georgia’s No. 34 player.

In nine games this past year, he recorded 18 tackles, five sacks, seven quarterback hurries and an interception.
The Buffaloes will battle Ole Miss, Fla., for Edwards.

In addition to Colorado, Ole Miss and Florida State were on Edwards’ list of final three schools.

He visited the Seminoles earlier this month and spoke highly of the program.
“The game went well.
It was the first home game I’ve been to, but only the third time I’ve seen them play,” Edwards told Warchant.com.
“What surprised me was that people never thought I would be this successful.
I don’t think people knew they worked hard this summer and it paid off.”

Ole Miss invited him to a Georgia Tech game in September and he developed a close relationship with the Oxford staff.
“I have a great relationship with coach Golding at Alabama and coach Enrique Davis at WKU.
We were very familiar with each other because we know each other so well,” Edwards told OMSpirit.
“I also talked to coach (Randall) Joyner.”

The Buffs offense will be led by defensive line coach Nick Williams, who is looking to significantly overhaul the defensive front. CU has received commitments from four-stars Brandon Davis-Swain, Amontray Bradford and three-stars Eric Brantley Jr. and Omar White.
