Fans troll Colorado’s Deion Sanders in AP poll after Oregon loss.

While Colorado enjoyed a sudden rise into the Associated Press top 25, the Buffaloes suffered an equally sharp decline after Saturday’s 42-6 loss to Oregon.

Deion Sanders’ team is ranked 19th going into the game and is no longer ranked in the top 25.
In general, fans were not surprised by this revelation and had fun at Colorado’s expense.

the hype surrounding the Buffs is a little overrated, but based on where they started, a top 25 ranking is warranted. Beating TCU on the road was a big win, and wins over Nebraska and Colorado State continued that momentum.

But Oregon provided a solid reality check. Colorado had 199 total yards with its only score coming late in the fourth quarter after the score was tied.

Sanders said, among other things, that it was a “good kick in the ass” and that his team did “like hot garbage.”

Week 5 could be the last time the Buffaloes reach the top 25 this year.
USC heads into its home opener and has been close to three ranked opponents in its last four games.

It’s important to understand here that leading a 1-11 program to a bowl game in 2022 would be a huge accomplishment for Coach Prime and his staff.
