Deion Sanders delivered a bold message about Colorado’s future after another tough loss.

Deion Sanders wasn’t happy about Colorado’s 28-16 loss to UCLA.
This is the Buffaloes’ fourth loss in their last five games since opening the 2023 season, three in a row.

Colorado’s offensive line allowed seven sacks, 13 sacks and 17 sacks on quarterback Sheder Sanders in the Rose Bowl loss. Despite the team’s offensive struggles this season and a tough schedule, Sanders is confident Colorado will return to its winning ways before the end of the 2023 season.

Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders leaves the field after the game against the UCLA Bruins in the Rose Bowl.
UCLA defeated Colorado 28-16.

“I really want to win.
I’m used to winning,” Sanders said at his press conference on Saturday. “And we will win… Fasten your seat belts, we will win.
“We have to see what can happen with our team.

They only gave us the belts once.
This happened in Oregon.

There was no victory.
If you look at all the other games, you can see how we won them. We can do this.
That’s what we call hope in our book.
I am grateful and happy for that.

Colorado (4-4) has won two postseason bowl games. However, the Buffaloes’ remaining slate includes home games against Oregon State and Arizona State, two tough road games against Washington State and a season finale against Utah before the season ends.

Colorado last appeared in a bowl game under former head coach Carl Dorrell when they lost 55-23 to Texas in the Alamo Bowl.
