Vikings DB Enlists Help From Senators to Acquire Visa for Wife in Philippines

Vikings DB urges senators to secure visa for wife in Philippines
Vikings defensive back Camryn Bynum made the most of her time in front of the cameras following Minnesota’s 22-17 win over the 49ers last night Monday when he asked viewers to help him find his wife, stranded in the Philippines while waiting for a visa to come to the United States..
Bynum and his wife, Lalaine, married in March, but she has yet to see him play professional football in person since he enlisted in the Army in 2021.. She was denied a tourist visa twice and have also applied for a spouse visa..
Since Bynum received airtime on NFL Network and posted about the situation on social media, he has heard from many fans, including the Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith..
“They said they could speed up the process,” Bynum said via the Star Tribune.. “I’m hoping that someone from inside a big office across the United States can push something forward, but you just have to be patient and very grateful..”
Until Lalaine received her visa, she watched her husband’s matches from the other side of the world..
“Monday night was perfect because for her it was 8 a.m..,” Bynum said.. “At first we had to create little streaming sites where you had all the pop-ups, but eventually we found a good app so she could watch without any lag or interruptions.. whatever.. She loved soccer and taught many of her friends and everyone here..
This was a good game to watch for Lalaine as Bynum sealed the win for the Vikings with an interception.. He finished the game with two interceptions and nine tackles..
