REPORT: Sad news as KC Chiefs’ reveal latest injuries update about two star this evening

Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton had surgery in Los Angeles on Tuesday for a dislocated wrist and will return to Kansas City on Thursday to begin rehab.

Bolton injured his left wrist in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

“The one positive is that he didn’t have to have any metal put in there,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said.

With the injury, Bolton will miss playing time, though the team has not officially established a schedule for his comeback. Bolton will miss at least four games if he is placed on the injured reserve list and will not count against the team’s 53-man roster.

Bolton was sidelined for three games earlier this season due to a high-ankle strain.Drue Tranquill, who spent his first four seasons with the Chargers, took over as defensive play-caller and will do so again.

The Chiefs’ linebacker room includes Bolton, Tranquill, Willie Gay, Leo Chenal, Jack Cochrane, and Cam Jones, as well as Isaiah Moore from the practice squad. Cochrane and Jones play mostly on special teams.

On the injury front, the Chiefs received some encouraging news. Wide receiver Justin Watson returned to practice Wednesday after missing the previous game due to an elbow contusion suffered two weeks ago. His left arm was concealed by a sleeve.
