Kevin Byard Shares First Message After Being Traded

Kevin Byard shares his first post after being traded
The Philadelphia Eagles picked up a big win on Sunday, defeating the Miami Dolphins 31-17 to improve to 6-1 on the season prize.
Sure, the Dolphins were missing star cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Xavien Howard, and they were also without standout rookie running back De’Von Achane, but this was clearly the Eagles’ best win of the season for now.
There have been some concerns about their pass defense and in an effort to shore it up, they sent safety Terrell Edmunds and two late-round 2024 picks to the Tennessee Titans for safety for Kevin Byard.
Byard took to social media to express his excitement about playing for the Eagles.
Byard is a Philadelphia native, which makes him a very lucky man as very few professional athletes get the opportunity to play for their hometown team.
He is 30 years old and in his eighth season in the NFL, and he has been named to the Pro Bowl and first team All-Pro twice in his career.
Last season, he had six passes defensed and four interceptions for the Titans.
The Eagles rank in the bottom half of the league in several pass defense categories, and they are 28th in touchdowns allowed and interceptions forced, and hopefully Byard will help them improve those that number.
However, against Miami, they managed to hold wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was on a historic tear, to 88 receiving yards.
This was just the third time this season he had fewer than 100 receiving yards in a game, and that came after passing for more than 150 yards in four of his previous seven games.
