Deion Sanders can only beat the Gators with his legs

Coach Prime loves fishing, but doesn’t get along well with some aquatic animals.

The Colorado Buffaloes returned to campus on Sunday after a week off. Everyone was talking about what they did on vacation, and Deion Sanders got to talking about golf course etiquette.
He didn’t know the dress code for collared shirts, but said he was going green for other reasons.

“I’m not a golfer.
I fish on the golf course,” Sanders said, via Well Off Media.
“Most golf courses in Florida have bass.
But the problem is that it is also full of crocodiles.
“You know blacks and alligators don’t get along too well, right?”

Not sure if this is a subtle dig at the University of Florida, but it’s pretty funny.
Sanders is an avid bass angler and will likely join the Bassmasters tournament.
It makes sense to know the quality of golf course fishing spots. Being an experienced angler is perhaps the least known part of Sanders’ extensive resume.
What made Prime’s comment even better was that he gave Taft two pairs of alligator shoes as a gift. He took various items out of the box and showed them to Bucky.

Sanders and the Buffs are scheduled to return to work this week.
They pack up Friday and head to Pasadena to face No. 23 UCLA.
This will be CU’s last visit to California as a member of the Pac-12.
Another sell-out is expected at the Rose Bowl at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC TV.
