Colorado and Deion sign top-4 QB prospect Antwann Hill Jr.

If you don’t foresee Colorado’s future, Deion says, you’re a hater.

Deion Sanders praises Colorado’s effort in its loss to USC and issues a foreboding to the Buffaloes’ critics.

Friday, quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. of the ESPN Junior 300 joined Colorado’s recruiting class.
said he was joining Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes.

Hill is ranked No. the No. 49 prospect overall in the class of 2025 and the No. four quarterbacks.
He is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound recruit from Warner Robins, Georgia’s Houston County High School.
In addition to other schools, he received offers from Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, LSU, Florida State, and many others.

He had just returned from a trip to Colorado for the team’s game against Stanford on October.
He claimed that age 13, in large part, was what drove him to commit the crime.

We want AJ, fans were screaming in the crowd, Hill recalled.
“That was something I had never seen before and that I hadn’t anticipated seeing during t

Since Sanders took over as head coach, Hill is the first quarterback ranked in the top 300 from a high school to choose Colorado. Sanders was successful in convincing his son Shedeur Sanders to transfer from Jackson State, but up until this point, no potential replacement had been added to the staff.

“[The coaches] really think I really fit their scheme, what they have going up there,” Hill said.
I mean, I’d be the next guy up who will be a highly ranked quarterback to get that position.
Coach [Sean] Lewis and Coach Prime really want me to take over once Shedeur leaves.
And I think I could benefit from Shedeur’s teachings. Simply absorbing his leadership style and applying it to my own.
They were actually saying that I was the next man up and should be prepared to take over after Shedeur leaves.

Hill has put up some impressive numbers so far in his high school career thanks to his size and talent.
In 2022 as a sophomore, Hill completed 3,663 passes for 40 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

He joins wide receiver Winston Watkins, the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2025 class, as Colorado’s two ESPN Junior 300 commitments.
Overall, 86 recruits.

After spending some time with Sanders, Hill believes the group is headed in the right direction.

More men, some big men up front, please.
Since he told me that, ever since I committed, I’m going to be on that really hard, and I’m going to try to help recruit some guys up front,” Hill said.
“Despite the fact that the record isn’t looking the way everyone had hoped it would, they’re doing well for Coach Prime’s first year.
But since it’s his first year, I suppose they did better than last year, when they went 1-11, and he’s really turning around that program.
