Anthony Richardson’s rookie campaign has come to an end in Indianapolis.

The dual-threat quarterback will require season-ending shoulder surgery, the Indianapolis Colts announced on Wednesday.
In Week 5, Richardson was tackled at the conclusion of a 4-yard designed run against the Tennessee Titans, resulting in a Grade 3 AC joint sprain in his right (throwing) shoulder, according to a team source.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Colts owner Jim Irsay said, “Anthony is a competitor, and we know how difficult and disappointing this is for him and our team.”.
