The season-ending surgery that rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson will have on his right throwing shoulder was announced by Colts owner Jim Irsay on Wednesday.

“It has been decided that he will undergo surgery to repair his injured shoulder, which will end his season,” Irsay posted on X, the website that was formerly known as Twitter, following consultation with our medical staff, Anthony, and those close to him.
