The Colts’ loss to the Jaguars makes Anthony Richardson more necessary, but Indianapolis cannot rush the rookie.

Jacksonville, Florida. Anthony Richardson sat on the bench in the Florida heat during the third quarter of Sunday’s game while wearing sunglasses and a sling on his right shoulder.
The coveted rookie quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts was alone for one of the few times during the contest at EverBank Stadium.
Trainers weren’t keeping an eye on him.
In his ear were no coaches.
There was no one to chat with from the team.

The Colts’ universe didn’t revolve around Richardson for the first of at least four games after that one.
He signed dozens of autographs in his home state before the game despite having an AC joint sprain, but he was unable to play.
The Colts lost 37-20, their ninth straight road loss to the Jaguars dating back to 2014.
Gardner Minshew, the Colts’ backup quarterback, struggled to create offense during that third quarter.

Wide receiver for the Colts Michael Pittman Jr. said, “It’s definitely something I think about.”.
referred to the losing run.
“I’m not sure why this place appeals to me so.

There have been some losses in the past that are just beyond comprehension.
