Tyreek Hill, a Dolphins wide receiver, was fined once again, but this time it wasn’t for wearing an improper uniform.

Only a few days after wide receiver Tyreek Hill revealed he had received multiple fines from the NFL for wearing an improper uniform, the league announced he had received another fine.

Hill received a $10,927 fine from the NFL for acting improperly during his 69-yard touchdown against the New York Giants.
As he neared the end zone, Hill raised the peace sign, as he has frequently done throughout his career.

After being fined multiple times for wearing an improper uniform, Hill declared on Thursday that he would follow NFL regulations.
Although Hill claimed on his X (previously known as Twitter) account that he was fined more than $100,000 for the violations, NFL Network reported that the final sum is “significantly less” than what Hill claimed. Hill was penalized for skipping out on the required sock component of his uniform.

Hill gave an explanation of his lack of sock usage.

I get IVs before games, and sometimes the timing makes it impossible for me to put on socks, and I don’t want to miss plays, or sometimes I have socks, but they don’t cover a certain length, ” he said.

Hill was warned for taunting after the touchdown when he headed into the stands to give his mother the football, but he was not punished.
