NEW DELHI: Despite rumors of a trade involving the Minnesota Vikings, 35-year-old quarterback Kirk Cousins is concentrating on his next game and isn’t interested in talking about possible trade situations

With a 1-4 record so far this season, the Vikings have had a difficult start.
Even so, Cousins is playing well; he leads the NFL in touchdown passes (13) and is ranked second in passing yards (1,498 yards), though he has caught four passes.

Cousins has a no-trade clause in his contract, which enables him to void it and become a free agent in March.
In response to a question concerning the potential waiver of the no-trade clause, Cousins said he would rather focus on the team’s upcoming matchup with the Chicago Bears.

Cousins said they were surprised by how much talk there was about his circumstances and that he would rather not be involved in such conversations.

Cousins said to reporters on Wednesday, “You know, I am just very focused on the Bears and going 1-0 this week,” in reference to the Bears’ game against Chicago on Sunday.
“And anything else isn’t worth my attention, energy, or time.”.

With four Pro Bowl selections, over 38,000 passing yards, 265 touchdowns, and 109 interceptions in 147 career games, the seasoned quarterback has had an outstanding career.

The Vikings will notably be without Justin Jefferson, Kirk Cousins’ top target, as Jefferson was placed on injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury during a recent game.
