Before Colorado football’s game against Stanford, head coach Deion Sanders updates the team on Travis Hunter’s injury.

Since two-way star Travis Hunter was hurt against Colorado State, the Colorado Buffaloes football team has a 1-2 record.
But according to the most recent news from Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders, the Buffs are about to get Hunter back on the field (h/t Adam Rittenberg of ESPN).

There’s a “tremendous chance” that Colorado wide receiver/cB Travis Hunter will play on Friday against Stanford, according to head coach Deion Sanders. The goal is to prepare Hunter this practice week by getting him in good shape.
“.

Hunter sustained a lacerated liver after taking a severe hit from Colorado State safety Henry Blackburn.
He hasn’t played since.
The Buffs star’s heartfelt act of forgiveness was captured on camera after the two reconciled.

Now that he was caught on camera during practice on Monday, all indications point to Hunter making a quick return.
It may happen on Friday night against Stanford.

The Colorado football team lost both of its away games against the USC Trojans in Boulder and its closer game against Oregon after starting the season 3-0 and ranked in the top 25.
After that, they triumphed over Arizona State, but Coach Prime wasn’t satisfied with his team’s performance.

Due to his impact on both sides of the ball, having Hunter back on the field would greatly improve both the offense and defense and give the Buffs much-needed confidence heading into a difficult stretch.
They have a bye after Stanford before playing UCLA and Oregon State.
