Minshew is coming back to Jacksonville, hopefully without the magic.

On Sunday, a well-known opponent will face off against the Jaguars.
On the opposing team at TIAA Bank Field, Gardner Minshew will start at quarterback.

Rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts will not start Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team announced on Tuesday morning.
The much-loved former Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew, whose on-field clutch play gave rise to the moniker “Minshew Magic,” will take his place.

At 1 p.m., when he takes the field.
Fans will probably welcome him with open arms after the game, even if they hope he doesn’t revive the magic.

A damage to Richardson’s right throwing shoulder’s AC joint exists.
When the Colts faced the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in the second quarter, he was out of the game.
When Minshew joined the game, he proceeded as usual with his Jaguars play.
It was the Colts’ first victory over the Titans since 2020, and he led them to a 23-16 triumph.

Minshew finished 11 of 14 passes for 155 yards with a passer rating of 112 points8, without giving the ball up. Minshew played significant snaps in three games this season, including Sunday’s, and he’s 3-0 in those contests.

Head coach of the Colts, Shane Steichen, isn’t afraid to express his belief in Minshew.
As the NFL’s best backup quarterback, he claimed to be.

In a Colts website article, Steichen said, “He’s an elite processor of the game, and when you’ve got a guy that can process the game quickly and make quick decisions,”.
“He’s been fantastic for us; he’s accurate, really good, and knows where to go with the football at the right time.

Both the Jaguars and the Colts are 3-2, with the Jaguars leading the AFC South.
The winner on Sunday will own first place all by themselves.

Jacksonville hopes to make it three wins in a row after winning two games in London.
