Justin Jefferson of the Vikings is reportedly scheduled to undergo testing on Monday.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings are hoping to find out more this week about the extent of star wide receiver Justin Jefferson’s injury.

Jefferson, who sustained a hamstring injury in the second half of the team’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, will have tests on the injury on Monday, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Only three catches for a total of 28 yards were all that Jefferson managed before he appeared to trip on the ground while running a route.
He did not come back onto the field, so it is unclear how he will fare in the upcoming game and beyond.

Jefferson was on track to surpass the NFL record for receiving yards before his performance on Sunday.
But Jefferson now averages 114 point 2 yards per game, up from his meager 28 yards against the Chiefs.
He would need 1,941 yards to break the record at that speed.

On Sunday at noon, the Vikings (1-4) will play the division rival Chicago Bears (1-4).

Taylor Swift didn’t show up.

At the Chiefs-Vikings game on Sunday afternoon, Taylor Swift did not show up.

Swift, who is rumored to be dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, attended the team’s most recent games in Kansas City and New York, both of which were victories for the Chiefs.
But as the first quarter of the game came to an end, there was less chance that Swift would show up.

Jim Nantz, a commentator, said: “Seven words I thought would never leave my lips in my career: Taylor Swift is not at the game.”.
She was suspect all week, but it appears that she has been declared inactive.
