Fans of the Colts are upbeat about the team’s future despite Richardson’s injury.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Despite another injury to Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson, the crowd’s enthusiasm for the team’s 23-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans was undiminished.

This division victory is fantastic.
It gave us some self-assurance that we had no idea we possessed.
We are going to do some things,” Jennia Davis said.

For ten years, Matt Gibson and his friends have been tailgating near Lucas Oil Stadium.
He has witnessed the rise and fall of numerous Colts quarterbacks during that time.

“I’m not sure Richardson is ready to play at this level, especially using him as a running back like we do.
At this level, that’s really, really difficult for a quarterback, said Gibson.

Gibson believes Gardner Minshew, the game’s backup quarterback, ought to start.

“I believe Minshew should be taken into account.
He’s a seasoned quarterback, so I understand that it slightly alters our offensive strategy and lessens the play action.

Others agree with Gibson that Minshew could fill in if Richardson were to miss a few weeks.

“Gardner Minshew is a hottie.
Sam Miller said, “Gardner Minshew is the real deal; in my opinion, he’s the best backup in the league.

Also optimistic is Gerard Davis.
The best is yet to come, he claimed, with running back Jonathan Taylor rejoining the team.

Richardson falls, Minshew rises; we’re built for the long haul, you know.
Simply put, it seems to be built for the long haul, according to David.

The Colts will play the Jaguars in Jacksonville on October 14. 15.
