After the Jets’ victory over the Broncos, players and coaches lined up to give Nathaniel Hackett special hugs.

Immediately following their victory over the Broncos on Sunday, Jets players and coaches congratulated offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

Following an appalling debut season as head coach, the Broncos let Hackett go last year.
Hackett became the offensive coordinator for the Jets during the offseason, but he still faced some backlash from his previous employer.

There was some tension between the two teams during the offseason and leading up to Sunday’s game in Denver as a result of Sean Payton, the new head coach of the Broncos, criticizing Hackett.

Hackett and the Jets were the ones who triumphed after a 31-21 victory.

Players and coaches alike gathered around Hackett to congratulate him on defeating his former team as the clock for the game wound down.

The celebration continued after that.

Hackett received the game ball, according to Jets head coach Robert Saleh after the contest.

Aaron Rodgers, who previously sustained an injury earlier in the season and played alongside Hackett for the Packers and Jets, also expressed his support for his coach on social media.
