Jake Plummer, a legendary ASU football player, responds to the “stir” while sporting a Colorado Buffaloes shirt.

Some Arizona State fans might have questioned the loyalty of ASU football legend Jake Plummer with Deion Sanders’ team in Tempe to face the Sun Devils on Saturday after he was spotted cheering on the Colorado Buffaloes at a game in Boulder last month.

But according to Plummer, there is no doubt about who he backs.

Plummer recently admitted to Arizona’s Family, “I support one team.
“I don’t even support the NFL teams I played for or anything like that, but ASU is the team I’ll support and hope does well.

“I pay taxes, so I obviously give money to CU (Colorado), and I’m probably paying a portion of Deion’s salary, but when I was back home, I made a scene by donning a Colorado shirt.

Since I’m from Colorado, I attended the game.
I didn’t go out and buy that shirt because of the Deion craze, but I’ve had it for ten years.
Through and through, I’m a Sun Devil.
“.

Some ASU supporters and media members were undoubtedly “upset” by Plummer’s Colorado shirt.

When Plummer, one of Arizona State’s greatest quarterbacks, was spotted wearing a Colorado shirt during the Buffaloes’ game against the Colorado State Rams last month, social media users criticized him.
