Taylor Swift is rumored to be dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce sent a funny response to Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban about pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Rumors that Swift and Kelce are dating have been doing the rounds for several weeks. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift were first spotted together at an event in New York City earlier in September.

Swift then added further fuel to the speculation by making an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium last Sunday. The world-famous pop star was in Kansas City to watch the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears 41-10 in the NFL Week 3 contest.

The pop star shared a private box alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna, at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. Swift and Kelce were seen leaving the stadium together after the conclusion of the contest in Kansas City.

Mavericks owner Cuban was appearing on ESPN’s ‘First Take’ show where he got into the subject of Kelce and Swift. Cuban jokingly asked Swift to “dump” the Chiefs tight end in a light-hearted request.

“Taylor—If you’re listening, sorry, Travis—break up with him,” Cuban said on Thursday. “I’ve got a bunch of good-looking single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I gotchu! I gotchu!”

The video was posted on First Take’s X account, formerly known as Twitter, which led to a response from Kelce. The Chiefs star joked that he would be willing to join the Mavs on a short-term contract.

Kelce wrote: “Just sign me to a ten day!” This is in reference to 10-day contracts that are used in the NBA for teams to sign players on a short-term basis in order to help the team for typically two to three games.

The Chiefs do not have a home game until they face the Denver Broncos in Thursday Night Football on October 12 in Week 6. Before then there are games on the road against the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. It has recently been reported that Swift will be in attendance at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday for the Chiefs road game against the Jets.

Kelce recently spoke about Swift on his podcast, ‘New Heights’, alongside his brother, Jason. The Chiefs star expressed his admiration for Swift following her appearance at Arrowhead on Sunday.

“Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up,” said Kelce on the podcast on Wednesday. “That was pretty ballsy. I just thought it was awesome that everybody in the suite had nothing but good things to say about her, the friends and family.

“She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in great light and on top of that the day went perfect for the Chiefs.”
