Sunday’s Chiefs-Jets game could feature Aaron Rodgers pulling a Taylor Swift.

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, has been spending the last few weeks starting to recover from his torn Achilles while away from the team at his California home.
When the Jets play the Chiefs on Sunday night, though, that might change.

According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, Rodgers intends to watch the Jets game on Sunday Night Football if his doctors give him the all-clear to fly this week. Even if doctors do not give Rodgers the go-ahead to fly this week, he will eventually be able to rejoin the team and watch games from the owner’s box.

On the Pat McAfee Show earlier this week, Rodgers made a suggestion that he might go to the game on Sunday night.

He said, “You never know who you’re going to see at the game.”.

In light of Taylor Swift’s rumored romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Sunday’s game is likely to be a star-studded affair.

It wouldn’t be the first time this year that Rodgers and Swift were in MetLife Stadium at the same time, as Rodgers had previously gone to a Swift concert in East Rutherford in May.
