Deion Sanders had a special guest at Colorado practice today

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deon Sanders walks on the field before the game against the Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium on September 23, 2023 in Eugene, Oregon.

The Colorado football program is moving on from its first loss of the 2023 season, and on Wednesday it was joined by some special guests.

With All Elite Wrestling in town for their weekly Dynamite show on Wednesday night, head coach Deion Sanders invited a group of AEW wrestlers to train with the Buffaloes.

One of the attendees was Mark Henry, who spoke to the group about mental health.

“I am considered by many to be the strongest person to ever walk this planet,” Henry said. In addition to his wrestling career, Henry is also known as the World’s Strongest Man, earning the title after winning several weightlifting competitions in the 1990s.

“You’re all going to have problems.” Asking for help doesn’t make you weak. It doesn’t make you weak because you have something you don’t know the answer to. You all have supporters here willing to do the same.

Henry’s message to Colorado players is to prioritize their mental health as much as possible. “The sooner you can communicate more with your coaches and with the administrative staff who are available to look after your mental health, the better,” he told players.

Colorado will look to pull off another upset this weekend when it faces No. 8 USC at home in Boulder.
