As the Buffalo Bills prepare to host the Denver Broncos in the AFC Wild Card round on Sunday, speculation is swirling around the status of wide receiver Amari Cooper. Cooper, who missed the Billsโ€™ Week 18 game due to a personal matter, has yet to return to the team.

Head coach Sean McDermott addressed the situation during his Monday media availability, saying, โ€œIโ€™m taking it one day at a time. Itโ€™s family-related, and Iโ€™ll just leave it at that out of respect for Amari.โ€

The Bills head into the postseason in excellent overall health, having rested 20 key players in their regular-season finale against the New England Patriots. However, Cooperโ€™s absenceโ€”compounded by the lingering uncertainty surrounding returner Brandon Codringtonโ€™s hamstring injuryโ€”remains a focal point. Both players are officially listed as question marks for Sundayโ€™s matchup, though McDermott expressed optimism about linebacker Terrel Bernardโ€™s return from a quadriceps injury.
